You know I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and she happened to echo the same thing I have been hearing for some time now: SEO is a foreign language to most. You know, for many people in the search engine optimization industry, it can be easy sometimes to just rattle off a few facts that we may know a lot about, but a majority of the people who own the sites we optimize don’t always understand backlinks and anchor tags or metatags.
So, for those of you out there who demand it and for others who need it, I am starting a new series of articles and posts aimed to help the average computer user or webmaster understand what search engine optimization is and what it can accomplish. The new articles will start with the prefix “Simple SEO” and document one easy to understand and short facet of proper SEO. The first articles are in development and will be released sometime later this week and I will be adding a link on the sidebar to this post which will document the various articles and have links to them.
